REGENT'S CANAL / KENSAL GREEN

Pictures from a walk from Angel underground station to Kensal Green cemetery, with Adam Scovell. The route followed the Regent's Canal, through the redevelopments of St Pancras, past London Zoo and the strange sight of African wild dogs seen through mesh fencing, the plush wealth of Little Venice and Warwick Avenue, and on to Kensal Green under the Westway to visit the tombs of J.G. Ballard and Harold Pinter. Fascist and anarchist traces visible along the trail. Remorseless sun, a blistered sole, and reminder of the value of exploring your own city.
